My Journey as the 2024-2025 State President
I became a State Officer because I believe DECA provides high school students with the best opportunity to delve into business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Having experienced firsthand how DECA supported the growth of my businesses, I was motivated to guide other like-minded students. My aim was to serve as a mentor and role model for aspiring young business leaders. Throughout my journey, mentors played a crucial role in shaping my path, and I wanted to pay it forward by inspiring students who, like me, needed encouragement and someone to show them that their dreams are achievable, even in high school.
My Journey as the 2023-2024 State Secretary
In 2023, I was elected as the State Recording Secretary for NJ DECA. In this role I was instrumental in increasing NJ DECA’s membership to the highest it has ever been: over 11,000 members. Also in this role, I led the statewide community service initiative where we raised over $30,000 for Oasis, a NJ haven for women and children.
